I refer to my limiting beliefs as the itty-bitty-shitty-committee residing in my head. When left unchecked, these little thoughts can crystallize into full-blown beliefs that hold us back from reaching our full potential. Believing “I’m not smart enough,” “I’ll never succeed,” or “I don’t deserve this,” can become self-fulfilling prophecies and begin to actualize into our reality. Our thoughts inform our actions and shape our realities. That’s why it’s so important to take control of negative self-talk and cultivate a growth mindset.

The first step is taking 100% responsibility for your thoughts and beliefs. Don’t allow yourself to play the victim or blame circumstances. You have the power to choose how you perceive experiences.
